Kassidy is an honors graduate of the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography, studied photojournalism at UCLA and has been shooting weddings for 16 years, with three of those years being at the most successful photo studio in Napa Valley, California.
Her photography method is in the photojournalistic style, and she takes pride in finding portfolio quality photos in every wedding she shoots. She moves quickly, but gracefully to capture those once in a lifetime moments that weddings produce, and with an extreme social and friendly demeanor yet efficient, you will hardly know she’s there.
Kassidy has photographed many venues in California, Mexico, Ireland, Wyoming, Idaho and Nicaragua including: Kunde Winery, Nicholson Ranch, Auberge du Soleil, Trentadue Winery, Stags’ Leap Winery, Kapscandy Family winery, Larkmead Winery, The San Francisco Fairmont, The Sonoma Mission Inn, Silverado Country Club, Staglin Family winery and Hacienda Iguana Beach Club.
Kassidy now resides in the quaint fishing village of Playa Gigante, Nicaragua where she runs a very successful surf camp. Her photojournalism skills landed her the job, and after four years in the country, she finally became proud owner. While living in Nicaragua, Kassidy continued traveling the world, shooting destination weddings and always returning to Playa Gigante. Now, because of the rise of tourism in Nicaragua, the wedding industry has made it’s way to her humble country and she is happy to help those fellow travelers in photographing something she knows best.
